I understand that galavanting around Canada is takin me away from this blog. In order to counteract the lull that has been generated I have asked MitchyMatt and soon others to provide something to be read here. Enjoy.

“You know MM, you do a lot of armor replacements and additions for your own use. It’s not super different from how the module system works. Why have you never applied to be a part of the pop 4.0 team?”

That was the question that started my road onto the development team. Before I got started with Prophesy of Pendor, I too was a noob and wandered the forums in search of problems in the game and seek help from people who know much more about it. I eventually became a well-known poster on the Prophesy of Pendor TW forums and as I spend more time I increased my knowledge of how the mods for Warband work. I soon began modifying my game to suit my tastes and put in what I think would make the game a better way for me to play. I’m sure many of the members on the forums recount my endless changes of armors to the factions. Once that got boring or that I needed a break, I began making signature banners for the mod, in which took off as a hit because I’ve seen members who are usually around, use them. I also started the roleplay but that is a long story and I want to write onto other things.

Anyway, the first real of development for me came for v3.5. The development team collaborated with another and we all decided to give Pendor a well-deserved make over. We began looking at the heart of the mod: the factions. We brainstormed and thought out what on earth needs to be re-done and how we should approach them and make them ‘better-looking.’ And the end result you see is what we have released for all the players to enjoy and so far everyone seems to enjoy the refurbished mod and the additions.

Some may ask, “what is going on with PoP 4?” Well I can say that it is being worked on, but in a different way. Instead of working on it itself, we are working on the current Prophesy of Pendor. Once we finish our art assets for whatever updates may be in the future, it will be an easy transfer over to PoP 4. A port if you will. Well now don’t expect all the same items. There are items the community hasn’t seen yet that would make them go drool and grab some Vaseline. I can assure the community this however: we are making progress, some little in a day and sometimes large leaps in a day. Currently however we are looking ahead for a possible BIG update in the future. Currently I am working on fleshing out Barclay. The new Conquistador look? Yeah that was my effort and last minute too, considering v3.5 release was scheduled in a few days of that time. For some reason I can flesh out units faster than other things members work on. Like coding? Forget it. I plan on making Barclay look and possibly feel like the superpower that they are and maybe they will play a larger role in Pendor in upcoming releases, with new units, items, and all

Well I hope everyone has enjoyed my blog post and thank you to Sairtar for letting me write this. Maybe this will raz the community up in thinking “mmmm, more stuff, updates gawwhshshsh (gibberish).”
