Hmm

Disclaimer:  This post is not about currently planned features, simply a feature creep I would encourage if I were Czar.

I was playing the mod for Skyrim the other day that lets you choose alternate starts, and a few days ago I was looking through character creation templates available to mount and blade.  I was thinking man, we could add some replay value to the game.  Here is one of the options I came up with as a starting option:

My father was a...

"Noldor Prince overthrown in a military coupe de grace."

-You start as a noldor instead of a regular human.
-You start with two noldor bodyguard retainers (middle tier noldor troops) that have no upkeep cost.
-You start with -100 noldor relations and -100 KotEG relations and +20 Sarleon relations +40 Knights of the clarion call relations.

Instead of asking 4 or 5 questions that give +1 to this stat or -1 to that stat why not have several compelling options that dynamically and fundamentally change how the game is meant to be played.

Why not start as a member of the dawn who had a massacre pinned on him (gender specific for some knighthood orders) who starts out greatly impacted in relations but can muster rogue knights to his cause at random intervals.

The possibilities are both endless and appealing.  However, this option is currently not lore friendly or liable to appear in any game... except maybe 4.0 if I am still in charge when that rolls around.
